On Saturday night at the afterglow, there will be an organised "Quartet Room" event. For the past few years, the evening function has been a little disappointing for quartetters who love to perform and those who like to listen to them, so we're going to try to do something about that this year. There has been a room allocated for us to use and I have been given the green light to put a programme together, so all we need now are registrations of interest and we'll be good to go. I hope you are all keen to come and sing.
The order of appearance will be, where possible, the same as listed on the attached notice. I just need to know who will make themselves available to perform and then on the night, you can either come and enjoy the singing of others or just show up to sing when you think it might be your turn. Performances are limited to two songs for the medalists to start with, but of course you can appear later in the programme, when we open the floor, to sing any other material you have.
We are starting at 9pm, (the Ceilidh will still be going) but if you would rather keep dancing than sing, then just let me know you'll come back later. I am sure it'll all work out. Also, supper is at 9.30pm, so some might want to work around that too. We can go with the flow.
I look forward to a inbox full off confirmation messages from you all!
Toni
